Bank of New Hampshire Announces Executive Vice President Promotions

Barry S. Leonard, Jr., Vickie Routhier, and Cydney Shapleigh-Johnson promoted.

Laconia, NH - January 8, 2016 - Bank of New Hampshire is proud to announce that Barry Leonard, Jr., Vickie Routhier and Cydney Shapleigh-Johnson have been promoted to Executive Vice President.

Vickie Routhier has been promoted to Executive Vice President - Chief Retail Banking and Marketing Vickie RouthierOfficer. Vickie joined Bank of New Hampshire in May of 2010 as Vice President - Director of Marketing, responsible for oversight of the Bank's Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Contributions. Vickie was promoted in December of 2012 to Senior Vice President - Director of Marketing and then again in January, 2015 as Senior Vice President - Chief Retail Banking and Marketing Officer where she assumed responsibility of the Bank's Retail Banking division.

Vickie is a 2011 graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking, a 2012 graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing & Management and a 2015 graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School and the Executive Leadership Program at Wharton. Vickie values commitment to the community and has volunteered her time with the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Main Street and is currently serving as Chair of the Advisory Board for the YMCA of Strafford County where she also chairs the Marketing and Board Development Committees.

Barry S. Leonard, Jr. has been promoted to Executive Vice President - Chief Commercial Banking Officer. Barry joined Bank of New Hampshire in FebruaryBarry S. Leonard, Jr., 2010 as Vice President -Commercial Banker in the Lakes Region market. Barry was promoted to Senior Vice President - Commercial Lender and Team Leader in January, 2012 and then again in January of 2015, as Senior Vice President - Chief Commercial Banking Officer where he assumed the management of the Commercial Banking Division.

Barry-Leonard-t.jpg Barry holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Notre Dame College and is a 2013 graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School and the Executive Leadership Program at Wharton. Barry is active in the community and currently serves on the Board for the Belknap Economic Development Corporation and Chairs their Loan Committee.

Cydney Shapleigh-Johnson has been promoted to Executive Vice President - Chief Wealth Management Cydney Shapleigh-JohnsonOfficer. Cydney joined Bank of New Hampshire in December of 2007, developing and overseeing the Bank's Retail Investment Services. In December of 2012, she was promoted to Senior Vice President - Retail Investment Services Manager and then in January, 2014 promoted to Senior Vice President - Chief Wealth Management Officer where she assumed the responsibility of managing the entire Wealth Management division.

Cydney is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute and obtained her CTFA designation in 2011. Cydney is very active in her community, serving as Chair of the Select Board in Alton and the Zoning Amendment Committee. She is a Member of the NH Banker's Association Trust Board, and the NH Estate Planning Council.
