CONCORD, NH -- During the 2016 NH Farm and Forest Expo, attendees donated
686 pounds of non-perishable food to support the NH Food Bank. The Expo
was held Friday and Saturday, January 22 and 23, at the Radisson Hotel in
Manchester.
"Each year our Expo attendees support the NH Food Bank with their
generosity," states Expo Board Chair A.J. Dupere. "Recognizing one out of
nine of New Hampshire's residents are food insecure, we appreciate our
attendees helping to reduce hunger in our state."
The non-profit New Hampshire Farm & Forest Exposition has taken place since 1984. The Expo provides information and education on all
aspects of agriculture and forestry by bringing the state's farming and
forestry communities together to share ideas and views on industry needs,
while providing a fun and interesting venue for the public to learn about
these industries and their impact on life in New Hampshire.
