Fisher Cats Season Now 3-0

Hartford, CT - Led by prospects Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A Blue Jays) improved to 3-0 with a 4-1 win over the Hartford Yard Goats (Double-A Rockies) on Saturday night at Dunkin' Donuts Park.
Bichette, the No. 8 prospect in baseball according to Baseball America, logged his second-straight multi-hit game with a single in the first inning and a two-run double in the third. The two-bagger gave the Fisher Cats a 2-0 lead, and New Hampshire never trailed.
Baseball America's No. 3 prospect, Guerrero Jr. hit his second double of the season in the fifth inning, while Cavan Biggio added a two-base hit in the third.
Guerrero and Biggio are the sons of MLB Hall of Famers Vladimir Guerrero and Craig Biggio, while Bichette's father Dante was a four-time All-Star with the Rockies.
Fisher Cats starter Nick Tepesch - who has pitched in the big leagues in parts of the last four seasons - turned in the first quality start of the season for New Hampshire by limiting the Yard Goats to one run on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts over six innings.
New Hampshire added single runs in the fourth and fifth thanks in part to defensive miscues by Hartford.
Jose Fernandez, Justin Shafer and 2013 World Series Champion Craig Breslow combined on three shutout innings of relief to keep the 'Goats off the board for the remainder of the game.
