Manchester, NH [6/26/18] - Jonathan Davis completed the first cycle in Fisher Cats history as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays Double-A affiliate) rolled past the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox)10-3 on Tuesday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
Davis doubled and scored in the first inning, hit a three-run homer to center field in the second, singled in the fourth and led off the sixth inning with a triple off the right field wall before scoring another run.
Davis finished 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs.
Bo Bichette drove in the game's first run with an RBI groundout in the bottom of the first inning. Davis was at third after his double and an error.
New Hampshire hit two home runs, part of a five-run bottom of the second inning for a 6-0 lead. Gunnar Heidt doubled and Juan Kelly homered. After Connor Panas singled and Jon Berti walked, Davis hit his third home run of the season to break the game open.
Jon Berti hit New Hampshire's third homer of the night in the bottom of the fourth inning. The majestic shot into the centerfield batter's eye made it 7-1. Panas also delivered a two-run double in the fifth inning to make it 9-1.
Fisher Cats starter Josh DeGraaf (W, 2-4) left after allowing one run in five innings. He scattered five hits, walked one and struck out five.
The Sea Dogs added a run off reliever Zach Jackson in the top of the sixth inning. Jantzen Witte, who had walked, scored on a groundout by Tate Matheny to make it 9-2.
