Manchester, NH - Centerfielder Jonathan Davis ripped an RBI single up-the-middle to give the Fisher Cats a 2-1, 10-inning win over Erie on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
Heidt doubled to start the frame, scoring on the Davis single off reliever Sean Donatello (2-3), ending an eight-game win streak for the SeaWolves (29-28).
New Hampshire (23-35) took the lead in the third inning. Heidt walked, stole second and scored on a double by Richard Urena for a 1-0 lead.
Erie tied the game in the top of the seventh inning. Gabriel Quintana reached on a fielder's choice, advanced to second on a single by Zach Cox, moving to third when Greyson Greiner walked. A. J. Simcox delivered the run with a sacrifice fly.
Andrew Case (4-0), the fourth New Hampshire pitcher, earned the win. Francisco Rios worked three scoreless innings in his first start off the disabled list. Shane Dawson allowed one run in five innings of relief and Jose Fernandez also tossed a scoreless inning of relief.
Steve Pearce, on a MLB Rehab Assignment for the Toronto Blue Jays, walked in four plate appearances as New Hampshire's designated hitter.
