Manchester, NH - For the second time this season, Fisher Cats 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been named Eastern League Player of the Week.
In five games from April 30 to May 5, Guerrero hit .500 (9-for-18) with two doubles, a triple, a home run, five RBIs and seven runs scored. Guerrero enters this week on an 11-game hitting streak, the longest in the Eastern League this year.
The 19-year-old has produced multiple hits in five of his last six games, and made social media waves with a blistering home run in Binghamton on Thursday.
Guerrero leads the Eastern League with a .398 batting average and 30 RBIs, while ranking second in doubles (10) and third in OPS (1.079).

Following the best April in team history (14-7), the first-place Fisher Cats (17-9) have continued their winning ways in the month of May, and will host a three-game series with the Sea Dogs from Monday - Wednesday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
