Bartlett, NH
To say the town of Bartlett is a bit misleading - it contains the villages of Intervale, Glen and Bartlett. The town is named for Josiah Bartlett, who signed the Declaration of Independence.
Bartlett is home to Attitash Mountain, which means "blueberry" in the Abenaki Indian language. With skiing in the winter, and a host of summertime activities including a waterpark, horseback riding and even a trampoline, Attitash is truly a year-round resort. The trails for skiing compliment the vast trails for biking and hiking. Skiers will enjoy that all lift tickets for Attitash are honored at nearby Wildcat Mountain.
A Better Life Snowmobile Tours, 1255 Route 302, offers professionally guide snowmobile tours. Northern Extremes Snowmobiling, 1326 Main Street, also offers guided tours.
Cabin Fever, 1395 Main Street, is a popular place for sandwiches, pizza and salads. Matty B's Mountainside Café, 951 Route 302, offers light meals, such as the "Skiers Lunch."
There are a number of lodging choices in Bartlett, including bed and breakfasts, rental condos and motels.
Not just for skiers anymore, Bartlett offers a wide variety of activities all year long.
