NORTH CONWAY, NH - Last week Memorial Hospital hosted its annual Employee Awards Banquet at the Attitash Grant Summit in Bartlett, NH, to recognize staff for years of service and to honor staff with accolades from Employee of the Year to a Teamwork Award. The western themed event saw over 200 employees and guests turn out to celebrate.

All employees were invited to nominate their peers for the annual Excellence Awards recognizing those who exemplify Memorial's values of Patient Centered Care, Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Ownership and Innovation, plus other awards for leadership, teamwork and peer recognition. Those being honored included:

Memorial also honored long-term employees with its annual Service Awards, where staff receive service pins marking years of service ranging from 5-50 years.

Emergency Department RN Carol Edmunds reached the 50 year mark and received a standing ovation from the room as she was presented her award from President & CEO Scott McKinnon and Hospital Board Member Tino Fernandes. "Carol exemplifies dedication to caring for our community. She has dedicated her life to her patients, her community and our hospital and we are all so lucky to work with her," stated McKinnon.
