Chatham, NH - On June 20, 2018, at 2:10 p.m., Saco Valley Fire Department, Fryeburg Rescue, Oxford County Sheriff's Office, Carroll County Sheriff's Office and New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers responded to a report of an ATV accident on Deer Hill Road.

First responders located Roger Johnson (62 years old) of South Chatham, NH next to his ATV with fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The subsequent accident investigation revealed that Johnson was travelling along the roadway following another ATV when he left the roadway and struck a large tree. Johnson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash and any contributing factors remain under investigation. No further information available at this time.
