The Carriage House Restaurant is located on the grounds and is open daily for tasteful lunches that have garnered high praise by the critics.
While in town be sure to visit the
Old County Store at Moultonborough Corner. Erected in 1781 and a National Historic Site, you'll find nearly 5,000 square feet of diverse and interesting products, including keepsakes, weather vanes, apparel, gifts and so much more. With a 1950s-1960s feel, think of it as a gift shop on steroids -and- hormone therapy. It also holds a small free museum.
DO stop here.
