Graymist farm offers tours of a traditional dairy farm, with such modern twists as a robotic milking demonstration. Beyond the cows and milk, each June, Graymist Farm is the host location for Fiddle Fest, bringing in some of the finest violin players in the country to our neck of the woods. The festival has been held for nearly 30 consecutive years.
The Gray family sold the farm in 2011, but remain active in the activities and operation of the facilities. Nancy Gray has written a book called The Dairy Diaries: A Collection of short stories, essays & anecdotes, a remembrance of the hard and sometimes joyous life on a new England dairy farm.
Whether you want to visit the farm, attend the fiddle festival..or both, the farm will make for an enjoyable day, nestled along the banks of the Connecticut River
