At the intersections of 10 and 25, Piermont sits on the Connecticut River. Piermont is about halfway between Hanover and Littleton, about three miles off Exit 16. It is the home to a number of summer camps. The town was named Piermont because it reminded settlers of the Piedmont regional of the Austrian Alps.
The
Robie Farm has been operated by the same family for six generations and operates a
retail store on the premises. They produce ice cream, cheese, meat and baked goods for many area restaurants and retailers, as well as natural food stores across New England.
The seasonal
Piermont Inn, 18 Church Street, offers bed and breakfast accommodations and provides space for weddings and other events. Originally and inn and stagecoach stop in the 1790s, the tradition of hospitality continues today.
If you're looking to enjoy the simple and green things in life, Piermont is a good destination.
