Are you an occasional skier, or the consummate bargain hunter? Want to go skiing but just spend a few bucks or a few hours? We have a deal for you!
There are two small ski areas with tremendous deals. Skiing will cost you less than $10 all the time! (OK, weekends will cost just that, $10). So read on all you deal scavengers!
It's worth pointing out that little hills don't have the big amenities. Bring snacks, your own equipment, and dress warmly. No hitting the ski shop if you have forgotten anything! Oh, and bring dependable gloves to protect your hands. Tow ropes. Nostalgia. Small town NH!

Community owned and operated, Abenaki has been open since 1936 making it one of the oldest ski areas in the country. Open to the public, the area boasts 7 trails from green to black diamond, glade skiing, night skiing, a terrain park, and one of the fastest rope tows on the East Coast. There's about 200 feet of vertical drop, 18 ski-able acres, and a small, rustic lodge. Small crowds mean that lift lines are rare, and ticket prices are $9 weekdays and $10 on weekends. They do offer lessons and a winter break Ski and Snowboard Camp.
